I moderate a few high-traffic poetry forums and I've seen a lot of takes on this kind of poetry. Some of it is good, some of it is hard to get through. However, Chriselda didn't make the reading a chore. There were a few gems in this book I'm glad I got to experience, and most were pretty decent for a poetry collection with a running theme. It didn't get stale, or repetitive, which are huge concerns in chapbooks and things of that nature when a theme is present. I will say this kind of styleChriselda, a multi-genre, prolific author and speaker, with a background in Business Administration and Chemistry/Microbiology lives in Belgium. She also hosts the Podcast The 3 Pillars and is the creator of ART-IS-IN, The Dig and her blog chriselda.blogHaving traveled the world extensively, as an Inflight Safety Training Instructor, she has worked in the Aviation industry for nearly two decades.I wasn't sure what to expect when I got this. I do enjoy poetry I rather enjoy all different genres of writing.
