Explanation To Books The Trouble With Valentine's Day (Chinooks Hockey Team #3)

Dumped by her boyfriend, stressed out by her job, Kate Hamilton needs to regroup and get back some self-esteem. She moves from the bright lights of Las Vegas to the wilderness of Gospel, Idaho for some small-town fun. But when her first attempted seduction of a hunky stranger is completely rejected, she wonders what else could possibly go wrong?

Well, for starters she quickly realizes that the Mountain Mama Crafters Original Poetry reading is about as good as it gets on a Friday night. Then she comes face to face with Rob Sutter, former ice hockey madman, owner of Sutter's Sports—and the hunky stranger who told her to get lost!

Rob's been more than burned by love—but then he and Kate find themselves in an ultra-compromising position in the M & S Market after-hours, giving the phrase "clean-up in aisle five" a whole new meaning, and cause a whole lot of gossip in Gospel...

Evaluation Containing Books The Trouble With Valentine's Day (Chinooks Hockey Team #3)
Just ok. I picked up this author from amazon as she appeared in the same lists as sep, whose books are great. However this was not half as good. The heroine tries to pick up a guy at a bar for sex. He rejects her and she is humiliated. She goes on to stay with her grandfather in the small town of Gospel and it turns out this guy, the hero, is also resident there. She is initially embarrassed and there is conflict between the pair until they eventually get it on. They have both suffered fairly

I really liked it, mostly because I always enjoy flawed characters and Rob definitely fits this category. Although he did some pretty bad things in the past, I still liked him. After all the things he went through, I had no doubts he would change. He admitted his mistakes and had no wish to repeat them. I highly recommend this book to those of you who enjoy sports romance, hot love scenes and small town folks.

4.5 STARS!I loved this book! Not of the bests I have read but it really was a terrific read, definitely much better than the first 2 books in this series. I just felt like singing: "It must be love", from Madness . Just like watching one of those amazing romantic movies that leave you all cozy inside. **sigh**.In this book we have our sexy hot hero, Rob, described as one of those guys too sexy to be real, almost a GQ guy (not being really one because he's too rough and manly, lol). P.E.R.F.E.C.T.

*MIGHT HAVE SOME SPOILERS*Boy, did this book ever grow on me! I wasn't so sure in the beginning if this was a book that I even wanted to read. I didn't particularly care for the heroine's back story and thought this might be a dnf. The heros history is what made me sit up and take notice and not give up. It had me intrigued from the moment I heard it. I applause RG for making him so realistic with flaws and all. Thats a trend in her books that has made her an auto buy for me.Not many authors

I originally picked this up because it was billed to me as a chubby heroine book, but really, she is just tall. I appreciated some of the angst in the beginning (I like books where there hero initially rejects the heroine) but really, the hero was just kind of an ass to her. He's not a bad person, just a jerk, with a little bit of a lean towards misogyny. I like alpha heroes and angsty storylines, but with this one, I just wanted to say to the heroine, "Honey, please. Stop."It's tales like this

The Trouble with Valentine's Day3.5 StarsSeries Note: This is book #2 in Gospel, Idaho and book #3 in Chinooks Hockey Team. That said, the connection to both of these series is rather superficial in that the setting is Gospel and the hero is a former team member. Consequently, the book can easily be read as a standalone. The small town setting is charming and the couple is likable enough with solid chemistry. Unfortunately, the book contains several less than enjoyable tropes. To begin with,

This was my first book by Rachel Gibson and the one that made me look up her other works. She's funny. she writes about strong, real people.
